Losar Protest SILENT PROTEST WITH HUNGER STRIKE (Mon Vart) Youth Volunteers for Free Tibet (YVFT) is organizing silent protest with hunger strike on the first day of Tibetan New Year, 7 to 10th February, at Jantar Mantar in sheer protest against the illegitimate, Chinese, occupation of Tibet and also the upcoming Olympic in Beijing. Our appeal: 1. To urge the international communities to boycott Beijing Olympic 2008. 2. To urge the United Nations and other international bodies to take cognizance of the violation of basic human rights in Tibet. 3. To gather support for the release of the young XI Panchen Lama, Tulku Tenzin Delek and other political prisoners. 4. To appealed to the Government of India to impress upon the government of Peoples’ Republic of China for the protection of Tibet’s fragile ecology. 5. Boycott Chinese made goods. 6.
